My name is Carol-Ann Salley. I'm an artist who is inspired by my love of nature. I grew up in the Philadelphia area where I earned my Associates Degree in Commercial Art and Advertising Design. As a child, I was very fortunate to share my love of art with my father. An artist himself, he encouraged me and was my biggest fan.
My early summer vacations included time at the Jersey shore where I discovered a deep love for the ocean. I would often be found sitting on a boardwalk bench admiring the ever changing seascape. As an adult, I moved to New Jersey where I began working for interior decorators, designing hand painted furniture, and later began my own mural business. Many of these included the ocean scenes I have always loved. Recently I moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where I can still be found on the beach admiring the sunrise, awed by the beauty of the sea.
In 2017, I decided to begin painting on canvases. This collection is a result of that endeavor. My goal is to share the beauty of nature with the viewer, as I believe that loving nature is the secret to finding beauty and happiness everywhere.
